TAC MAHAL:It is considered one of the most important works of Islamic mausoleum architecture. It was built on the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra, the capital of the empire at that time, for Ercümend Bânû Begüm (Mumtaz Mahal), the wife of Shah Jahan, the 5th ruler of the Mughal Empire, who died at a young age on 17 June 1631.
