I am not a lawyer by profession, but I decimated a school official in her own office, in front of a teacher by simply having done my own research prior to a meeting with them over my son's alleged behaviors. He was wrongfully suspended and painted as aggressive, racist and disruptive. When I made it clear to them this morning using "black" in reference to skin color in the context of "black is how God made you" is no different than "white is how god made you" and their own enrollment forms use "African American or Black" to describe ethnicity or race, that a simple touch is not aggression, unless it is done with malice or intent to cause harm as defined by case law, and that he felt he was being targeted and singled out by the administration and could not trust them to come to when needed. They now have to do a full investigation of their wrongdoing as we also went directly to the school board with their accusations. They are no longer allowed to have contact with my son unless I'm present. I made it clear that as a dad, I will move heaven and earth to see my child had his needs met and felt safe. They had no words. No accountability on their part. Daddy bear mode activated.
