Rather, there are three distinct phases in their movements:

Maybe it's because polygon has failed to increase its viability as a secure L1 blockchain over the same timespan?
Polygon is not decentralized or highly secure, its continued block reorg problem demonstrates this.
Active users are not the only metric of value in Web3.
