MetaMask will soon take a snapshot of users' transactions for an upcoming AIRDROP in 2024.

1/ Rumor has it...

There is speculation that Metamask will capture a snapshot of users' transactions on March 31, 2023, for their upcoming $MASK drop, set to launch in Q1 2024.

The source is a trusted insider; however, there is no official announcement.

2/ What to do?

There are several activities that you can do to become eligible.

However, they require some gas money even when the gas price is low.

So, I don't recommend it if you have limited funds.

3/ Bridge

@MetaMask has its own bridge, which is available on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Polygon, and BNB chain.

Bridge some assets between the chains.

I recommend you to do 4+ Tx and $1000+ of trading volume.

4/ Swaps

You can swap assets directly in the @MetaMask extension or mobile app.

However, even with 18 gwei, 1 transaction costs ~$20, which is more expensive than other DEXes. Keep that in mind.

I recommend doing 4+ transactions and $1000+ of trading volume.

5/ Conclusion

Only swaps or bridges made within @MetaMask will be considered for the criteria. Transactions done between wallets will not be eligible.

If you are not ready to burn that much money on gas, it's better to farm @zksync airdrop.
