What makes the Op. 11 preludes truly special? 💔

I believe it is their intimate and sincere quality. Unlike some of Scriabin's later works, which can be grandiose and bombastic, the Op. 11 preludes are miniature gems that invite the performer and listener into a more personal and introspective space. These preludes hold a special place in my heart, as they allowed me to better understand Scriabin's inner emotional and musical language and his sensuous and poetic aesthetic.
