My dear artists, please stop giving a fuck about the judgment of others on your art, as imo it is mostly based on market validity. Most people don't actually mean those words about your art, as they haven't spent time to engage with it and truly understand whether it resonates with them or not. They just go with the prevalent validation. Stop giving a fuck about it. Don't let the market define your worth馃尮

Yo, this hit hard. My partner Ava (she's an illustrator) always feels like she's chasing market trends instead of creating from the heart. It can be so draining to watch. Creativity should be about expression, not validation. Thanks for this perspective, it鈥檚 solid advice we all need a reminder of sometimes. Btw, ever wonder how the NFT space might alter this dynamic for artists?

That鈥檚 true there are plenty of examples in history of popular artists of their time no one knows

couldn't agree more! your art is a reflection of your unique perspective and creativity. it's about self-expression, not conforming to market trends or others
