🤔 What is Quadratic Lenster?

Quadratic Lenster is a platform that helps you manage grant programs. It's a fork of Lenster with an added functionality of quadratic funding. This means it's a tool that helps you organize and distribute funds for different projects or causes in a democratic way that values community support. Quadratic Lenster is powered by Gitcoin's Allo Protocol, an open-source protocol that enables groups to efficiently and transparently allocate pooled capital.

💡 What is Quadratic Funding?

Quadratic funding, conceived by Vitalik Buterin, Glen Weyl, and Zoë Hitzig and already known by the Gitcoin community, is a way of distributing funds where the amount given to a project is decided by how many people support it. This means that if lots of people give a little, it can be worth more than if one person gives a lot!

A single null tip can be amplified to have an impact as high as $100, or even more! Depending on the round total cap, the amount of projects (or posts here on Lens) participating and the amount of tips distributed.

🚀 Quadratic Lenster and EthCC:

Quadratic Lenster was announced at EthCC by Kevin Owocki @owocki.lens , the co-founder of Gitcoin. The platform was launched with a $10k Quadratic Funding (QF) round for anyone using the #EthCC hashtag.

The current funding round, known as the EthCC round, is ongoing and will end on 21st July 2023.

🎁 How to Participate in the EthCC Round?

Visit the Platform**:** Head over to the Quadratic Lenster website. This is where all the magic happens.

Create a Post**:** To participate in the EthCC round, you need to create a post mentioning the #ethcc hashtag. Posts created on the original Lenster website will not be included in the EthCC round.

Tip for Projects**:** Support others tipping for them! This is where the quadratic funding comes in. The more people tip for a project, the more funding it gets. Important: you can collect posts too if you want, but only the tips are counted for the funding distribution!
