As creatives (especially musicians) too often we create art that never ends up seeing the light of day. I'm more guilty of this than most. I made a pact with myself to quit this disservice to my art and to my fans cold turkey and give the world all these things that I "moved on from" for whatever reason that might be. I recently came across a demo from 2012 that I lost the session files. From second one I was immediately brought back to where I was at that time and right then I knew that this song needed to see the light of day. "Night Skies (Demo)" is a romantic ballad produced by my homie Louis G and myself. There's a comfort and love found staring into the gaze of your loved one that is truly unmatched. The song represents that special connection between two people and the joy of finding love in the present moment. This is that moment when soul meets soul. We’ve gotten away from that these days and I hope this song re-centers the conversation around love and expressing that love.
