F. Schubert - Impromptu Op.142 (D.935) No.3 in B flat Major
The first piece that I played during the Roxbury Series Recital. Schubert is one of my favorite composers! Schubert's melodies possess a song-like quality that is both tender and touching, with an elegant charm that captivates the listener. When I play Schubert I always imagine a voice singing in my head. The fact that he composed over 500 vocal pieces is a testament to his genius.
