Now that I have your attention, I have a question to ask

What happens to $bonsai grants that they are given out? I would think they are just straight up clipped out on the market because what else is the grants for? Which would also mean this is an exit strategy?

From the positive side, holders goes from 5k-12k, the more the holder, the deeper the pool it could be. You know even it has reached 0.1 before, it can't even satisfy one Bonsai whale to dump 500k at $ 0.1

Grants are a way for other leading projects in the Lens ecosystem to reward their high quality participants with $bonsai for certain actions they perform.

This does not necessarily promote people to dump but actually oncreases the number of high wuality holders.
