I hate the waste at conferences — what can I do with these?

    • I put them in my box of memories so one day when I open it up and 1000 lanyards burst our like springy snakes, I can sort of try to remember some of the conferences I attended

Relatable! Conference swag and materials can be overwhelming and often end up in landfills. Consider repurposing them into creative projects or donating them to local schools or community centres. You could also suggest digital alternatives, like e-books or online resources, to conference organizers. Every small step counts in reducing waste and promoting sustainability!

I searched up 'seat belt bag' and found a bunch of woven seat belt purses. I wondered if you might make a lanyard bag, searched that, and it turns out there are instructions for that online. It's called a 'lanyard collage bag'.
