As some of you may know, last year we won the CLR Fund in Devcon Bogotá, thanks to the support of 5944 legends of the Ethereum community who voted on this Latam round focused on Public Goods.
This first 4k DAI donation would allow us to develop the v1.0 of the archiving platform in Q1-2023. We planned to launch this MVP at Eth Denver 2023 and then apply for grants and partnerships with street art festivals and cultural organizations worldwide.
We payed 3000 DAI in December/2022 that we received as donations from the CLR Fund at Devcon Bogotá 2022 to Luciano Di Angelo, a Gitcoin contributor, and a developer called Mateo Zapata, colombian living in NY, that he introduced us.
We shared our whitepaper, roadmap and flowchart of the platform but they didn't deliver the code, after many attempts to deliver. They kept postponing the meetings we scheduled and just answering they were "having some personal troubles" as an excuse all the time… Until today they didn't get back to us with any solution.
Sadly, we need more accountability in our communities and the web3 space, we really need a reputation radar to avoid this kind of unfortunate situations in our trust networks. You can read all the interactions timeline in our CM Notion here.
We**** decided to accept this collaboration to invest them for the platform while we planned to sale our stunning jacket swag on the GM store and continue developing an amazing NFT collection with our beloved CM crew.
We learned our lesson to don't pay in advance to anyone and we will keep asking them to deliver the code or return the money we already payed in December/2022.
We really want to continue with our roadmap and don't give up, we want Cryptomurals to be the public good that everyone believes it will be.
