A songwriter’s guild by Connect the Coast

Have you ever wanted to be a songwriter but don’t know where to start, or maybe you don’t have any songwriting skills? Join Connect the Coast’s songwriting guild and earn songwriter credits and royalties by collecting Connect the Coast’s audio NFTs on Beats.

How it Works

Each song Connect the Coast releases on beats will be a 24-hour open edition mint. To join the guild each collector must hold at least one edition. Holders will gain access the guild’s gated channels where they can vote on when the song they hold will release on DSPs, how the final artwork will look and more. Songs will be separated by threads and roles within the channel creating an interconnected tree of songs branching off into separate communities that hopefully grow forever.

1 collect = .05% songwriter credit (percentage may be higher or lower depending on the artist’s preference)

Referral fee 10% max. editions 10 per referrer (percentage may be higher or lower depending on artists preference)

25% cap on community songwriter credits. Only the first 500 collects qualify for songwriters (may be higher or lower depending on the artist’s preference)

All Beats collectors will be blacklisted* for Connect the Coast’s Sound.xyz drops

Note: collecting our music on Sound will grant each holder a .75% songwriting royalty each Sound release will have a 30% songwriter royalty cap and a 40 edition supply.

Secondary Sales

Secondary sales will include the transfer of songwriter credits up until the confirmation of the release date on DSPs. After which, secondary sales will be allowed but will not include the transfer of writer’s splits or royalties.
