From a speculative standpoint, the best thing about stickers is that early buyers can't dump them, so it will never become a pump & dump ponzi scheme like Friendtech shares. As an early buyer, you will continuously enjoy a share of the revenue from future sales forever.
This might be the healthiest model I've ever seen. Ofc, you won't make a 1000x return on it, but this is not the point of it. It's just a totally sustainable way to monetize creator content.

I see a lot of potential in this; however, it would be great if it could somehow fulfill the role of an "upvote" at the protocol level. Without this, the general statistics of a given Lens profile could become significantly skewed, especially if Orb gains a larger market share among Lens apps over time. "Upvote" should still be a globally measurable & visible metric that you can give and receive in all Lens apps. Of course, this is just my opinion—ultimately, it's up to the app developers and the market to decide.

agree, I think somehow the stickers should feed the protocol info and, what we have now is the upvote metadata.

I'm with you on that—a truly brilliant system. Regarding the upvote feature, I think reposting or sharing serves the same purpose. An upvote could become just another vanity metric, like likes or follower counts, rather than something genuinely helpful.

I believe the main goal should be for people to explore and support each other's work, regardless of how many followers or supporters they have, or how many upvotes a post receives. That shouldn't matter.
