My family told me about jumping to Bluesky and how everyone is. All I really know about Bluesky is that the provider of the server can read your password, DM's (not encrypted), etc.. what makes that more appealing to users than @lens and @farcaster? Any features in particular it offers that aren't available in these ecosystems?

      UX: you don't need a wallet.
      Users: lens has low activity and I'm farcaster most of people just talk about crypto.

          To my knowledge, there are two groups of people who are absent from and uninterested in joining social media platforms like Lens.

          The first group finds everything related to cryptocurrencies intimidating, believing it requires advanced knowledge and experience to engage with blockchain.

          The second group avoids associating their names with cryptocurrencies and blockchain because of the scammy reputation and uncertainty of many blockchain projects.

              I did make an account more than a year ago but never actually used it: <bsky.app/profile/rickydata.bsky.social> but the UX seems top notch for sure
